FoB Specialist Day with Alison Evans- 11th June 2018

Our FoB Specialist Day ( “What does Supervision mean for me?” ) on 11 June 2018 is going to be held at

24 Greencoat Place, London SW1P 1RD, on Monday 11th June 2018 (10am-1pm).

Facilitator:  Alison Evans

Members: £20; non-members £40

Gill Johnson will support this facilitation.

Alison Evans is a member of the core training team at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University, with a particular focus on Mindfulness-Based Supervision (MBS) training.  From 2008-2017, she was Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter and worked as a mindfulness-based cognitive therapist and trainer.  She led the post-graduate training, two specific IAPT training programs and a Supervised Pathway in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapies and Approaches.  She is the co-director and Supervision lead for the Mindfulness Network CIC.

This FoB Specialist Day is an opportunity for mindfulness teachers to enquire into Supervision from the Supervisee’s perspective:  “What does Supervision mean for me?” under the expertise of Alison Evans. This event is offered in the same spirit as all mindfulness-based approaches with the intention to co-create our time together. We offer a forum for personal formal practice, reflection and a chance to investigate themes that are current for you around supervision for your mindfulness practice teaching.  We hope that this will also allow you to connect with others from your local mindfulness network and build links with CMRP and Bangor University.  We look forward to welcoming you in this endeavour.

This event is open to non-Friends of Bangor members who want to connect and find out more about Friends of Bangor.  Tea/coffee will be provided (lunch is not included).

Please feel free to contact us at info@friendsofbangor.co.uk or Gill Johnson at gill@mindfulelephant.com for more details or if you have any questions.
